Àmàlà is a Nigerian food made out of yam and/or cassava flour. Yams are peeled, sliced, cleaned, dried, and then blended into a flour called elubo. Yams are white in color but turn brown when dried; this gives àmàlà its color. Àmàlà is from Western Africa and is eaten mostly by the Yoruba people in Nigeria. It can be served with Eforiro or Egusi or Ogbono or Ilasepo with Beef or assorted Meat.

Chin Chin is a popular crunchy deep-fried snacks made primarily from flour, butter , sugar & milk. It is similar to the Scandinavian snack klenat, a crunchy, doughnut-like confectionary that can either be baked or fried with a dough of wheat flour, and other customary baking items.
Chin Chin may contain spices and flavours like cinnamon, ground-nuts, ginger, chilli, nutmeg (an amazing spice that has a long list of health benefits).Chin Chin is made from a basic combination of sugar, flour and milk. Other optional ingredients like egg, baking powder and nutmeg, can also be used based on preference.
The snack is mostly served to guests at any event. In addition to serving wraps of Chin Chin as a replacement for other titbits, the snack helps during wonderful moments like movie nights.
Efo riro is derived from the Yoruba language in Nigeria. Efo means ”Green leafy vegetable” or ”spinach”, and riro, means ”to stir”. So basically, Efo riro simply means ”stirred leafy vegetable”. However, we just don’t stir this by itself, we stir it in a rich pepper sauce which is loaded with Meat, Crayfish, Dry Fish, and other Meat or Fish of Choice.
Spinach leaves, blended scotch bonnets, bell pepper, onions, and locust beans are used to make this dish. To be served with solid staples such as pounded yam, amala, eba, and several forms of fufu. Assorted meats are included.

In West Africa, fish rolls are a popular snack. It’s made with a pastry dough that’s wrapped around seasoned fish meat. The pastry for these rolls is quite similar to the dough for Nigerian meat pies. Nigerian sausage rolls are typically filled with fish and are absolutely fantastic.
